Your data is safe with Bryt
Your business numbers are sensitive. Here is exactly what we do to protect them, in plain words.
We never ask for your bank login
Bryt reads the sheets and numbers you choose to give it. It cannot see your bank account and cannot move money.
Your spreadsheet stays on your computer
Files you import are read in your browser. Only the rows you confirm are saved, not the file itself.
Hide names if you prefer
Turn on “Hide names” when importing and customer and supplier names are replaced with codes before anything is sent. The key stays with you.
Encrypted, and walled off
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each business is separated from every other at the database level, checked by automated tests on every change.
Only people you invite
Accountants must use two-step login. Upload-portal users can send files but never see a number. You can remove anyone at any time.
You can see who did what
Settings shows an activity log: changes, exports, opened files and accountant visits.
Never used to train AI
Your data is used only to run Bryt for your business. We do not sell it or use it to train AI models. Ask Bryt uses Claude, made by Anthropic: when you ask a question, only the figures needed to answer it are sent to write the reply. Anthropic’s commercial terms say it does not train its models on this data.
Export or delete everything, anytime
Download all your data in one file, or delete your business and everything in it permanently.
Where data is stored
Data is stored with Supabase in a data centre in Frankfurt (European Union), and the site is served by Vercel. We will add a GCC hosting option as customers ask for it.
